Acupuncture
Dr. Tung combines her knowledge of conventional medicine and traditional Chinese medicine in her acupuncture treatments. An initial appointment lasts approximately 60-70 minutes, routine treatments are approximately 45 minutes. If you have insurance, please check with your company to see how acupuncture is covered.
Naturopathic Medicine
Primary care physician: As a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington State, Dr. Tung is able to be your primary care provider. She can perform physical exams and order all laboratory tests that your primary care doctor can do, as well as prescribe medications including antibiotics, hormones, and birth control pills.
Specialty provider: If you already have a primary care physician, you may consult with Dr. Tung on your current health issues and receive naturopathic medical care. She can provide information and recommend appropriate natural treatments, including herbs, vitamins, minerals, and lifestyle counseling as well as give you information on how your natural and conventional medications interact with each other. She can also perform specialty testing to check hormone levels and neurotransmitter levels, evaluate gastrointestinal health, and check for heavy metals.
An initial appointment lasts approximately 60 minutes, return visits last 30 minutes. If you have insurance, please check with your company to see how naturopathic doctors are covered. You may need a referral from your primary care doctor.
In addition to the above, Dr. Tung can also design an individualized program to help you meet a specific health goal in order to achieve optimal health. This can include an individualized weight loss program that focuses on your specific obstacles or a detoxification program.
Insurance: Dr. Tung is a preferred provider for many insurance companies, including Uniform, Premera, Lifewise, Aetna, and First Choice. Please call your insurance company ahead of time to verify coverage. Please note that we cannot bill Medicare, out-of-state insurance companies, or United Healthcare.
Non-Insurance: If you do not have insurance, we offer discounted fees for all services. Please call for details.
